Judicial Evaluations

An independent, community-rooted review of Washington's judiciary.

The Judicial Evaluations Committee evaluates candidates for the Washington State Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Pierce County Superior, District, and Municipal courts.

Independent

Our ratings are reached by consensus of the Committee, free of any external influence, and reflect the lived experience of Pierce County's minority communities.

Representative

Committee members are PCMBA attorneys with diverse practice backgrounds, ensuring evaluations reflect both legal merit and community impact.

Documented

Every rating is supported by a written record reviewing the candidate's experience, judicial temperament, professional reputation, and commitment to equal justice.
